Kimble Alan Cochran

Kimble Alan Cochran, age 71, passed away June 6, 2022. He proudly served in the United States Army and received many decorations including the Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, Army Commendation Medal w/”V” Device and the Combat Infantryman Badge. He served as the American Legion Commander of the Howell Grantham post# 53 for six years. He was a life-long member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and a well-loved member of the community. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, son, brother and a kind friend who will be dearly missed.   

He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Harold Cochran; sister-in-law, Shelly Cochran.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Glenda Manning Cochran; children, Tara (Will) Daigle and Kindle (Chip) Rogers; grandchildren, Logan Daigle, Austin Daigle, Evan Daigle, Shelby (Jesse) Presley, Brandy (Garrett) Fallon, JC Sumrall and TK Rogers; mother, Betty Lou Cochran; siblings, David Cochran, Don Cochran, Carroll (Beth) Cochran and Kevin (Tracy) Cochran; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, close relatives including David Hudson, Emily (Austin) Anderson, and other friends.            

The Visitation for Kimble Alan Cochran will be Friday, June 10, 2022 at Shady Grove Baptist Church from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 11, 2022 in the church sanctuary beginning at 10:00 AM with Bro. Bruce McKenzie and Bro. Jamie Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove cemetery with Military Honors.
