With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kh’Miri Dewayne Lawrence, who was taken too soon on March 19, 2025, at the tender age of almost two months.               

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sabrina Moffett; maternal great grandparents, Charlie and Ella Mae Smith; maternal great grandparents, Inez and Levi Jones; paternal great grandfather, Timmie Moffett; maternal uncle, Hollis Jones; paternal uncle, Fredrick Dortch      

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, LaTehya Lawrence; father, Frederian McKenzie; sister, Nevaeh Wells; maternal grandparents, Joanne and Phillip Spivery; maternal grandparents, Alecia Lawrence and Antonio Wright; paternal grandfather, Timothy Moffett; maternal great grandparents, Christy and Willard Scott; maternal great grandparents, Shelia and Jackie Ward; maternal great grandfather, Micheal Carter; paternal great grandmother, Dorothy Moffett; paternal great grandparents, Willie Ray (Shirley) Fairley and Lily Mae (Larry) Fairley; aunts and uncles, Candace Buckhalter, Dajah (David) Andrews, Myiesha Smith, Kayla Martin, Kimberly Wright, Reohna Moffett, Timara Moffett, Timia Whittie, Christopher Lawrence, Dalen Wright, Tavin Smith, Kobi Whittle, Jyrielle Burney, Christina and Sylvester McKenzie, Dylan Howell and Antonio Wright; Godparents, D’avion and Keith Ludgood.    

The Visitation will be Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow in Merrill Cemetery.
