Kay Taylor, age 78, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021. She was a faithful member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and served as a Sunday School Tiny-Tots class teacher for over 30 years. Her greatest joys in life were church and family. She was a loving wife, mother and devoted MawMaw. She will be greatly missed.
She is proceeded in death by parents, Warren and Virgie Evans, brothers, Gerald, Merle and Frankie Evans; sister, Becky Taylor.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 55 years, Travis Forrest Taylor, Jr.; children, Lisa (Ron) Renfroe, Stevie (Pennie) Taylor, Ricky (Krys) Taylor and Tammy (Doyle) Mclendon; grandchildren, Ford Renfroe, Emily (Allen) Poole, Olivia (Austin) McRae, Garrett Taylor, Reid Renfroe, Molly Mclendon, Kaci Taylor, Maci Mclendon, Evan Taylor and Ellyott Taylor; great granddaughters, Kambree and Kinslee Poole; brothers, Willie (Brenda) Evans and Richard (Brenda) Evans; numerous other relatives and friends.
The Visitation for Kay Francis Taylor will be Monday, January 18, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 19, 2021 beginning at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Jeff Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers include Chris Taylor, Scott Taylor, Garrett Taylor, Ford Renfroe, Reid Renfroe, Evan Taylor, Allen Poole and Austin McRae.
