Kay Bryant Hayden

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kay Bryant Hayden, born on July 17, 1964 and passed away on August 14, 2024.  She lived in Lucedale, Mississippi.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Bryant; nephew, Zachary Bryant; and her beloved cat Menew. 

She is survived by her loving husband, John Hayden for the past 36 years.  Kay will be deeply missed by her siblings; Veronica Blanchard (Mark), Janice Standlee (Victor), David Bryant, Becky Bryant, and Nicole Culver (Ralph); She also leaves behind two step daughters Beth Brown, and Cassandra Kamchee; three granddaughters, Emily, Madison, and Mikaya; Also to cherish her memory are three bonus children Dawn Simon Bauer, Dodie Simon Currera (George), and Darren Simon (Carrie).

Kay had a passion for reading and could often be found indulging in her favorite book along with playing cards with family and spending time with her six nephews and her niece. 

The Visitation will take place on Friday August 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Moments Funeral Home in Lucedale, MS. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Graveside and burial will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
