June Thornburg

June Thornburg, age 85, passed away October 7, 2021.   

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Thornburg; parents, Robert E. and Mary Emma West Persons; brother, James Russell Persons. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Donald Thornburg, Robbie (Ken) Holland and Laura (Kevin) McGuire; grandchildren, Missy Holland (Derek) Breland, Carrie Holland (Matt) Foster and Evelyn McGuire; siblings, Robert “Woodie” Persons and Charles M. Persons; numerous other relative and friends.                  

The Visitation for Ms. June Thornburg will be Monday, October 11, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Wilmer United Methodist Church. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 PM in the sanctuary. Burial will follow in Wilmer Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
