Judy Ann Moody

Judy Ann Moody, age 73, passed away January 24, 2026. She was very determined and was a hard worker. She retired as a sergeant from South Mississippi Correctional Institution in Leakesville, Mississippi. She enjoyed watching crime documentaries, yard sales, nature, and wild life. She loved spending time with her family and having cook outs. She loved her pets and her grand babies. She had a contagious laugh and a fierce spirit. She lived life on her terms. She will be greatly missed.                   

She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Moody Jr; mother, Martha Nichols; brothers, Billy Nichols and Gene Nichols.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Logan (Lindsey) Moody and Leslie Moody (Clint Fairley); grandchildren, Kylee Cook, Owen Cook, and Fletcher Fairley; brother, James Nichols; numerous other relatives and friends.

There will be a Memorial Service Friday, January 30, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home.
