Joyce Elaine Rice

Joyce Elaine Rice, 76, passed away May 9, 2020. She was born in Albino, MI, March 5, 1944. She was a graduate of Homer Michigan High School and proudly served in the United States Army. She worked most of her life as a talented seamstress making formal wear. Ms. Rice was a member of Bexley Baptist Church who greatly enjoyed spending time with her family.     

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Newton and Gertrude Wave McAdams Rice; son, Jerry Myrick; brother, Gerald Rice.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Jamie (Chris) Rouse; grandchildren, Cali Price, Marcus Burnham, Dylan Rouse, Allison Baker, Jody and Cody Rouse; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Rouse, Conner Price, Brantley Price and Brayson Baker; sisters, Shirley Howe and Beverly Weber; numerous other relatives and friends.   

A Memorial Service for Ms. Joyce Rice will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the Biloxi VA for their compassion shown to Ms. Rice during her stay there.
