Johnny Gerald West

Johnny Gerald West, age 82, passed away November 1, 2023. He was a 1959 graduate of Rocky Creek High School. Upon graduation, he served time in the United States Air Force. He loved to travel and made his career truck driving. He liked dozier work and was an avid gun enthusiast/collector. He spent a lot of time with family and his friends, Wes and Mike. He was a loving father, pawpaw, brother, uncle and dear friend who will be missed.                  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Noble West and Easter Moore West; infant brother.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Johnny West; daughters, Sonya West and Renee Bryan; grandchildren, Ryan West, Lorelei Bryan, and Weston Bryan; siblings, Billy West and Vivian Golemon; aunts, Lucille Cooper and Maude Massey; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

The Visitation will be Monday, November 6, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM in the sanctuary with Bro. Joseph Ladner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
