John Foster Hutchinson, age 70, passed away July 18, 2026.            

He is preceded in death by parents, James and Glendine Hutchinson; brother, William “Larry Sr” Hutchinson; brothers-in-law, James Vise and Ray Shields Jr; father and mother-in-law, Ray Sr and Donna Shields.   

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 48 years, Laurie Hutchinson; children, Amanda (Jerome) Breaux and Daniel Hutchinson; grandchildren, Luis, Sadie, Lauryn and Evan; brother, Jim “Butch” (Ann) Hutchinson; sisters, Glenda (George) Auvil, Judy (Edward) Hudson, and Sylvia Vise; numerous other relatives and friends.      

The Visitation will be Thursday, July 23, 2026 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home. Graveside will follow at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
