John Henry Hunt

John Henry Hunt, age 71, passed away March 19, 2026. He was a faithful member of Little Sweet Water Missionary Baptist Church. He greatly enjoyed time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and riding his bike.   

He is preceded in death by his parents, Quitman and Fronia Hunt.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Dola Blanchard; brother, RQ Hunt; special niece and caregiver, Theola (Brad) Ford; many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and a community of friends.      

The Visitation will be Monday, March 23, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Little Sweet Water Missionary Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 24, 2026 beginning at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Douglas Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include Adam Moore, Luke Moore, Fred Byrd, Riley Byrd, Dennis Hunt, Riley Hunt, Brad Ford, and Randy Williams. Honorary Pallbearers include Athern Fairley, Richard Updegraff, and Lynn Hunt.
