John Darrell Brewer

John Darrell Brewer, age 53, passed away August 25, 2025. He enjoyed his job as a Sheetmetal mechanic at Ingalls Shipbuilding.  He was a member of Lucedale Full Gospel Church, a devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, co-worker, and friend.    

He is preceded in death by his father, John Harrison Brewer.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Valerie Smith Brewer; son, Timothy Brewer; mother, Margaret Brewer; siblings, Jamie (Kevin) Welford, Beverly Williamson, Angie (Rick) Perry, Lynn Brewer, and Kevin Brewer; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.    

The Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Friday, August 29, 2025 beginning at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tim Peace and Bro. Gary Cronier officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Brian Eubanks, Michael Miller, Nick Reyes, Curtis Powell, Doug Brewer, and Darrell Brewer. Honorary Pallbearers include Rodney Miller.
