Jessie Duane Parker

Jessie Duane Parker, Sr., age 73, passed away December 9, 2020. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors and especially fishing. He was a Master Mason. He enjoyed to travel and spend time with his family. He was a loving father and Pawpaw. He will be greatly missed.       

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Johnette Parker; parents, Ross and Hazel Parker; siblings, R.C. Parker, Mary Helen Howell, Robert Lewis Parker and Shirley Rogers.  

Those left to cherish his memories include his sons, Duane Parker, Jr., Bobby (Pam) Parker, Lance (Carley) Parker; grandchildren, Hanna, Candice, Destinie, Carlie, Robert (Lexi), Jake, Brandon, Lilley and Laura; two great grandchildren, Kaiden and Lucas; sister, Evelyn Howell; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.     

The Visitation for Jessie Duane Parker, Sr. will be Monday, December 28, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Harry Cochran, Bro. Bruce McKenzie and Bro. Metro Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Parker, Jake Parker, Brandon Parker, Josh Shelton, Kendall Kelly and Chester Howell.
