Jeffrey Thomas Cottrill

Mr. Jeffrey Thomas Cottrill, age 70, of Lucedale passed away on Tuesday, February 06, 2018. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Mr. and Mrs. James Cottrill. Mr. Jeffrey’s first love was motorcycles. He even spent a great deal of time building and customizing motorcycles. Some of his work has been featured in various trade magazines such as Easy Rider. He also had a great interest in music and singing. He started a band with a group of family and friends and spent time touring from state to state. He later settled in Lucedale to be near his family. He was a great man with many talents that will be greatly missed.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. James Edward and Mrs. Mary Louise Coghill Cottrill; daughter, Connie Cottrill; son, Eugene “G’no” Cottrill and one granddaughter.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lyn Rock; daughter, Carrie (Noel) Garza and other children; sister, Jan Bassham; brothers, James Richard Cottrill and Frank Franks; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

A private family service will be held for Mr. Jeffrey Thomas Cottrill at a later date.
