Jeffery G. Davis

Jeffery G. Davis, age 58, passed away January 21, 2025. He was a 1984 graduate of George County High School and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was a devout Christian and very knowledgeable of God’s word. He greatly enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with family. A devoted husband, loving father, brother, and uncle “Bobo”, he will be greatly missed.                

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Russell Davis, Sr. and Shirley Ann Christian Davis; brother, Robert Davis; paternal grandparents, Rupert and Garnis Davis; maternal grandparents, Shirley and Irene Christian.    

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Ida Fairley Davis; children, Chance Davis, and Samantha Mizelle; siblings, William (Dixie) Davis, Jr., and Debra (Mark) Henderson; sister-in-law, Frances Marie Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.    

The Graveside Service will be Saturday, January 25, 2025 beginning at 1:00 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery.
