Jeffery Edward Cheatwood

Jeffery “Bones” Edward Cheatwood, age 62, passed away June 21, 2025. He proudly served in the United States Navy. After exiting the service, he picked up the art of wet plate photography and almost became a full-time lion tamer with the Clyde Beaty circus. In his free time, he greatly enjoyed nature including hunting alligators, hogs, and other wildlife. He also enjoyed participating in civil war reenactments. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.                       

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Peggy Cheatwood.    

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Shea Cheatwood; daughter, Starenna (Robert) Ramos; grandchildren, Maddie Blank, Robert “RJ” Ramos Jr and Ricky Corsentino; numerous other relatives and friends.   

There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
