Jeana Fisher Davis, age 86, of Houston, Texas, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on March 9, 2026. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and the comforting presence of God.
Born January 8, 1940, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, Jeana lived a life rooted in unwavering faith. A devoted member of Inspire Church, she found deep joy in worship, fellowship, and supporting her pastors and ministry through prayer and generosity.
Above all, Jeana was a loving and dedicated mother who saw her role as a God-given calling. She poured herself into nurturing her family and extended that same maternal care to many others in her church and family community, earning her place as a cherished spiritual mother to countless people.
She is survived by her children: Tracey Shockley (James), Raymond Davis (Dynitia), Darwin Davis, and Jeff Davis (Mandi); her grandchildren: Joshua Davis, Jessica Goff, Jason Shockley, Jarrod Davis, Justin Davis, Javvin Davis, Tyler Shockley, and Ealon Davis; 16 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Margaret Sims and Marjie Chestnut; and many extended family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Davis; her parents, Marvin and Ada Fisher; and her siblings, Alton Fisher, Herbert Fisher, Lorene Wade, Betty Ott, and Mary Maples.
Though her earthly journey has ended, we celebrate that she is now in the presence of her Savior, worshiping at His throne. Her legacy of faith, love, and selfless service will continue to bless all who knew her.
Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: "Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all."
- Proverbs 31:28-29
