Jason Dale Blue

Jason Dale Blue, age 52, passed away June 22, 2025. He was a 1991 graduate of George County High School, worked as a project manager for Entergy Corp and was a member of the Pipefitters Union Local 52. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors and could be found often on the golf course. He was a genuinely fun person, made friends with everybody, loved big and adored his family. He would not let anyone go without and gave generously. A loving father, grandfather, brother and true friend, his spirit will be deeply missed.       

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vicki Lynne and William Carl Blue; grandfather, Thomas A. Dyer; cousin, Emma McDaniel; uncles, Clifford Walley and Mark Dyer.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Kristin (Justin) Finley, Lynnsey Blue, and Lauren Blue; grandchildren, Adalyn Mae Finley, and Alivia Laine Finley; brothers, Marcus (Jessica) Blue, and Michael (Sona) Blue; aunts and uncles, Jill (Glenn) Read, Nancy (Mitch) Goff, Ralph (Teresa) Dyer, and Judy Gore; numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.            

The Visitation will be Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery with pallbearers including, Justin Read, Justice Holifield, Ron Taylor, Phillip Dickerson, Casey Mitchell, Trevor Bounds, Bobby Fairley, and Brad Morgan. Honorary pallbearers include Raylan Dickerson and Connor Mitchell.
