Jasie Helen Faurot, age 70, passed away on June 10, 2026. A 1974 graduate of Moss Point High School, she later attended junior college, where she met her husband in 1975. A faithful member of Barton Baptist Church, Jasie lived her life rooted in faith and quiet devotion. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who found great joy in caring for her family and tending to her garden and flowers. Known for her humble nature and gentle spirit, she touched the lives of those around her through kindness and steady love, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.         

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dale R. and Eunice Lander Baker; brothers, Leon Coleman and Terry Coleman; mother-in-law, Juanita Faurot.  

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of almost 50 years, Michael Faurot; son, Joel (Alyse) Faurot; grandchildren, Karlee Faurot, Rhett Faurot, and Amelia Jane Faurot; sister, Dala (John) Prather; father-in-law, Marshall Faurot; sister-in-law, Lisa (Tony) Freeman; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.       

The Visitation will be Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Barton Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Brad Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include Tommy May, EB Brown, Lanny Ray, Ronnie Sharp, Gary Jones, and Tommy Sherrod.
