Janice Lott

Janice M. Lott of Lucedale MS left her earthly family November 21, 2020 with loved ones at her side.  She was a faithful member of the Mt. Pisgah church where she served the Lord in many ways.  She especially loved working with crafts and her church VBS team.  She touched many lives in her work paths in Pensacola, FL and Leakesville, MS.  Jan loved and ministered to many people of all diverse groups especially while working for the state of Mississippi Department of Corrections.

 Jan was born in Mobile, AL, December 15, 1955.  She is preceded in death by her earthly father and mother Edsel C. and Hazel S. Lott of Lucedale MS.  They and many other loved ones awaited her triumphant heavenly homecoming.  She is survived by her brother and sister-n-law Andy and Janet Lott and their sons Stephen and Kevin of Jacksonville, FL., as well as her brother and sister-n-law Bob and Teresa Lott of Pensacola Fl., their daughter Melissa, her husband Greg and their daughter Taylor as well as son Philip Lott, and his son Reed of Lafayette, LA.  In addition to many aunts, uncles and cousins and their cherished families.

A celebration of life service will be Saturday, December 19th, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Pisgah Baptist church. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist church, 1450 Highway 594, Leakesville, MS  39451.   Moments Funeral Home Leakesville, family owned and operated, formally Freeman Funeral Home, is honored to be in charge of arrangements.
