James Allen “Jamie” Clark, age 55, passed away on March 12, 2026.
Jamie was a loyal and dedicated worker who truly loved what he did. As a project manager, he took great pride in his craft and approached every detail of his work with care—from planning and scheduling to the countless tasks that kept projects moving forward. His strong work ethic and commitment earned the respect of those who worked alongside him.
Outside of work, Jamie’s happy place was life on the river. Whether spending quiet moments by the water or sharing time there with those he loved, it was where he felt most at peace.
Jamie will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, proud Papa, caring son, brother, and a loyal friend. His steady presence, kindness, and dedication to his family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, James E. Clark; mother, Carolyn Sue Andrews Lakey; brother, Sammie Labit.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, DeShea Clark; son, Allen (Samantha) Clark; loved as his own daughter, Autumn Marie; granddaughter, Elizabeth James Clark; loving stepfather, Jerry Lakey; siblings, Cindy Johnson, Michael Labit, Donna North, and Mike Hennings; several extended family members, other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Shady Grove Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Bruce McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
