James Larry Davis, age 81, passed away July 28, 2026. He was a very Godly man. He greatly enjoyed, woodworking, music, dancing, fly fishing, and most importantly spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.           

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Cheri Juanece Davis; parents, Arlie Franklin and Maudie Mae Davis; siblings, Bill Davis and Arlen Frances Tucker.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Rosa Davis; children, Shannon (Christan) Davis, Amber (Earl) Eubanks, and Joseph Davis; grandchildren, Donna (Josh) Nations, Lance Eubanks, Jacob (Ashley) Eubanks, Jamie (Hunter) Carter, Maverick Davis, Pammy Davis, Cameron Davis, JJ Davis, and Makenzie Davis; 11 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Graveside will begin at 2:00 PM in the Davis Family Cemetery.
