James "Jamie" Benjamin Cook, IV

James Benjamin “Jamie” Cook, IV, age 52, passed away March 16, 2025. He was a 1993 graduate of East Central High School and worked for Walmart in Pascagoula and Lucedale for several years. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to anyone. He loved big and kept in touch regularly with his family and friends. His free spirit and fun-loving personality will be greatly missed.                   

He is preceded in death by his father, James Benjamin Cook, Jr; brother, James Benjamin Cook, III; maternal grandmother, Wilma Jo Ramsey Bailey; paternal grandparents, James Benjamin Cook, Sr. and Marilyn Agnes Lindsey Cook.     

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Barbara Bailey (Freddie Dean Smith) Cook-Smith; sister, Tabitha Dawn (Edward “Ed” Lewis Lowe, Jr.) Vice-Lowe; nephew, Avery Lee Vice; niece, Madison Aliece Vice; maternal grandfather, Gilbert “Bill” Bailey; numerous other relatives and friends.
