James Dewayne "Zeek" West

James Dewayne “Zeek” West, age 62, passed away September 23, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his father, James L. West; mother, Eva L. West McDonald; paternal grandparents, James Wiley and Genese West; maternal grandparents, Robert and Rosie Waller.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Hayley West; son, James Johnathan “Buck” West; daughter, Pam Allen; grandchildren, William Allen and Remington Allen; stepfather, Ronnie McDonald; brother, David (Mary) West; sister, Machelle (Doug) McDaniel; nephews, Josh (Shala) West, Kyle (Heather) West, Nick (Tracie) McDaniel; nieces, Hannah (Rush) West and Haley (Jarrod) Davis; great nieces and nephews, Haidyn West, Wiley West, Eleanor McDaniel, Dawson McDaniel, Eva Davis, Bowen Davis, Brynnlee Wilkins, and Waylon West; numerous other relatives and friends.

The Visitation will be Monday, September 29, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 7:30 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Troy Hobson officiating. Graveside will be Tuesday, September 30, 2025 in Salem Cemetery at 10:00 AM. Pallbearers will include James Johnathan "Buck" West, Nick McDaniel, Robert Smith, Josh Carter, Bill Yates, and Richie Jones.
