James Robert Tompkins

James Robert Tompkins, age 61, passed away June 17, 2025. He was an avid Alabama Football fan but he enjoyed spending time with his family a little bit more. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, James O. Tompkins; mother, Bessie J. Montgomery; grandparents, Albert and Elsie Bell.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, April Tompkins; children, Mitchell (Tracey) Tompkins and Meghann Tompkins; grandchildren, Addison, Kaylei, Kennedy, Jessa, Avery, Harley, and Uriah; sister, Kim Ruscitti; nephews, David and Eric; niece, Bri; beloved dog, Ella; numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
