James Arties Smith

James Arties Smith, age 89, passed away December 12, 2024.             

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann M. Smith; grandson, Christopher “Robbie” Nicholson; parents, Ernest Woodrow and Berti Lee Arnold Smith; son-in-law, George Boyle, Jr.      

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Jeffery Smith, and Janice Smith Boyle; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.   

The Visitation will be Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:30 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mike Sawyer officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Family Cemetery.
