James Robert Lewis Jr.

James Robert “Bobby” Lewis, Jr., age 71, passes away June 2, 2024. He proudly served in the United States Marines and spent time in Vietnam. He enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, stargazing and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed watching history documentaries and spending time with family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, and dear friend.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Alane Lewis Hunter; parents, James Robert Lewis, Sr. and Mary Ellen Dueitt Lewis.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Paulette Lewis; daughter, Alissa Lewis (Cecil) Murphy; sons, Chris (Christi) Lewis and Mack Lewis; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Sue Dueitt; niece and nephew, Brent Dueitt and Andrea Warren; numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will hold services at a later date.
