James Larry Daniels, age 73, passed away July 29, 2022. He was a 1967 graduate of Leakesville High School. He was captain of the football team, guard in basketball and also on the baseball team. He was a veteran and served in Vietnam in 1969. He was stationed at Outpost Gloria. Larry was also a preacher and pastor at Life Tabernacle for many years. He touched many lives throughout his journey. He always tried his hand in many different things. He owned Photo+ for many years, capturing memories for a lot of people. He also owned a computer business at one time, plus many more things. Larry served on the City Council for 12 years as Alderman and received a key to the city. He was a huge Alabama football fan. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Some of his best memories are fishing with his mom. To try and sum up his life in a few paragraphs is impossible. He lived life to the fullest and was fearless. He had a heart of gold and would give anyone the shirt off his back. There was only one Larry Daniels! And as he would say, “Roll Tide”.
