James Havard Obituary

James "BoBo" Wesley Havard Sr, age 70, passed away March 3, 2026. He was a simple man. He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and westerns, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.


He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Idell Havard; wife, Kaye Havard; son, Brian Havard; grandson, Corey Holland; brothers, Sammie Ray Havard, Rickey Havard, and Oscar Havard.


Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Wesley Havard, Missy Brewer, Samantha (Henry) Harvison, and Eric (Christy) Havard; sister, Betty Holifield; grandchildren, Alicia, Tyler, Savanah, Hannah, Ashley, Christian, Cody, Justin, Shelbie, Austin, Octavia, Bryan, Sidney; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.   


The Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2026 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Rhymes Missionary Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 12:00 PM in the church chapel. Burial will follow in Rhymes Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
