Ira Kim Revette

Ira Kim Revette, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on November 24, 2024. He was born in Sylacauga, AL on November 14, 1954. Graduated from High School in 1972 from Vigor High School.  Went to Alabama Christian College. He retired from Jim Walter Homes, Inc as a Financing Manager. He was a Partner in the Ocean Springs, MS for an educational learning center for children with learning differences, ADD, ADHD and Dyslexia from 1999 till 2009.  He was the founding partner of HL III Rental Properties for almost 24 years. He and his wife were State Farm Insurance Adjusters for 14 years and traveled the U.S. helping disaster victims through their recovery. He loved snow skiing, hiking, reading, playing, chess and traveling. He also was Santa’s Helper with Cherry Hill Production in New Jersey for 5 years.  Bringing Jesus and cheer everywhere. He was a member of the Hurley church of Christ,  Hurley, Mississippi and attended Meadowview Baptist Church in Starkville, Mississippi. He was truly a disciple of the Lord and witness to all he talked to and had a conversation with about Jesus.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Leroy Revette and grandmother, Hollis Eldridge Hunsinger.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 25 years, Erin Elward Revette; children, Kelly Revette Collins, (CC), Justin Tyler Revette, Peggy Ladner Boles, (Brad), Hilton Louis Ladner, III; grandchildren are Easton Cole Talbot, Grayson Lamar Revette, Tanner Conway Boles and Riley Frances Boles; mother, Velma Scott; siblings, Tina Lynn Revette Phelps, Tara Gwen Revette Gardner (Gary), James Leroy Revette, Jr., Dani Revette Rolland, Gemi Revette Valeski; numerous other relatives and dear friends. 

The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, December 7, 2024 beginning at 11:00 AM at the Hurley church of Christ, Hurley Mississippi.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in Memory of Ira Kim Revette to either the Celebrate Recovery Golden Triangle (Meadowview Baptist Church, 300 Linden Circle, Starkville, MS 39759) or the Hurley church of Christ (8404 MS Hwy 614, Moss Point, MS 39562).
