Ina Catherine Jackson Martin

Ina Catherine Jackson Martin, age 84, passed away June 18, 2024. She retired from Mississippi Power Plant Daniel as a supervisor. She was a devoted mother, nanny and friend to all who was honored to know her. She will be greatly missed.           

She is preceded in death by her sons, William Ronald Martin and Donald Ray Martin; grandson, Gordon O’Neal Reed; parents, Artis Edward and Eula Mae Cowart Jackson; brother, Joe Jackson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Cathy (Gordon) Reed; grandchildren, Kym (Mark) McKee, Johnathon (Kathy) Dueitt, Jenarae M. Tilley, Raelynn (Dustin) Carr; great grandchildren, Courtney, Shelby, Triston, Tyler, Davey, Archer, Aurora and Evelynn; brother, Tom (Linda) Jackson; numerous other relatives and friends.

The Visitation will be Friday, June 21 at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Willie Long from Semmes Chapel Holiness Church officiating. Burial will follow in Coleman Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Gordon Reed, Jody Rivers, Jonathon Dueitt, Triston Monkress, Mark McKee, and Dustin Carr. Honorary Pallbearers include Tyler Dueitt and Davey Dueitt.
