Ida "Sue" Kittrell

Ida “Sue” Kittrell, age 83, entered her eternal home the morning of July 02, 2022. She was born December 31, 1938 in Beaumont, Mississippi. She graduated from Beaumont High School. She also received her Associate Degree from Jones County Junior College. She was employed by the State Department of Health – Perry County. She enjoyed nature, watching birds, walking, riding her bike, swimming and family gatherings.   

She is preceded in death by her spouse, Walter Thurman Kittrell; parents, Ezra and Winnie Bond; siblings, Charlie “Jack” Bond, Ed Bond, Vondell Lowe; brothers-in-law, Mont Lowe, Alfred Hill and Eddie Webb; nephews, Donnie Gilman, Allen Hill and Jeff Lovelace; nieces, Katherine Webb, Audrey Enlow, Patti Bryant, Robbie Leigh Bond and Autumn Dawn Bond.   

Those left to cherish her memory include her sisters, Katie Hill of Pascagoula, Mississippi, Mary Alice Webb of New Orleans, Louisiana, Josephine (Rodney) Girouard of Butte La Rose, Louisiana, and Rhonda (Mike) Dueitt of Blountstown, Florida; sister-in-law, Eunice Faye Bond; nephews, Howard Lowe, Joe Lovelace, Brent Bond, Edward Webb, Jr and Raymond Webb; nieces, Carmen Herrington, Sam Lovelace, Rena Trevett, Holly Giudice and Wendy Planavsky; other relatives and friends. 

The family would like to thank Lelia, Lisa, Saundra, Dotty, Gloria and Michael of Halcyon Hospice for their caring and professional service.   

The Visitation will be Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of New Augusta. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Tim Herrington officiating. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
