Howard Lamar Moseley, age 81, passed away August 2, 2026. He spent his career as a pipe welder at Ingalls shipbuilding. He greatly enjoyed coaching youth baseball, including his own sons and was an avid deer hunter. He will be greatly missed by all who were honored to know him.          

He is preceded in death by his wife, Laura V. “Ronnie” Moseley; parents Chester Moseley and Eleanor Grier; brother, Michael Moseley; sister, Geneva Hall.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, David Moseley, Timothy (Heather) Moseley, Phillip (Jenny) Moseley, William “Billy” (Carol) Moseley, Andrew (Tisha) Moseley; grandchildren, Nicole (Dale), Gregory (Rachel), Zachary, Victoria (Steven), Megan, Abby, Allison, Joseph, Hayden, Jayde, Brooklyn and A.J.; great grandchildren, Dyhlan, Fahlan, Liesel, Veronica, Molly, Lilly, and Vera Rose; sisters, Amber Bennett and Bonnie Barthel; numerous other relatives and friends.      

The Visitation will be Friday, August 7, 2026 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Graveside will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Gregory Moseley, Zachary Moseley, Joseph Moseley, A.J. Moseley, Dyhlan Barajas and Steven Ely.
