Horace Henry Williams

Horace Henry Williams, age 71, passed away November 17, 2024. He worked hard for many years as a logger. Hossie’s Logging company was well-known in the area. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and cooking for the community. He loved serving others and will be deeply missed.                     

He is preceded in death by his grandchild, Sage Morris; parents, Claude Harold Williams and Helen Viola Cochran Williams; sister, Eva Erkhart; brothers-in-law, Carl Erkhart and Benny Earl Anderson; son-in-law, Steven Rich.        

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, David Williams, Scotty (Racheal) Williams, Angel (Adam) Pipkins, Jessica Rich, Les Williams, Chantal Williams, Jordan (Alyssa) Williams, Destiny Williams, and Patsy Williams; grandchildren, Taylor (Sheldon) Herrington, Landon Williams, Brooklyn Williams, Laighton Kendrick, Kamaria Williams, Rilynn Williams, Cameron (Leann) Pipkins, Madelynn (Ian) Shaw, Makayla Rich, Hunter Rich, Hayden Rich, and Shelbie Morris; great grandchildren, Bentley Herrington, Oaklee Herrington, and Waylen Pipkins; siblings, Marie Anderson, Betty Lou Quave, Darlene Loper, Mae Williams, Benny (Janet) Williams, David (Lorraine) Williams, and Bruce (Sandra) Williams; numerous other relatives and friends.             

The Visitation will be Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Benndale. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, November 21, 2024 beginning at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Phillip Erkhart and Bro. Nate Seals officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery. Pallbearers include David Williams, Scotty Williams, Jordan Williams, Adam Pipkins, Cameron Pipkins, and Hunter Rich. Honorary Pallbearers include Hayden Rich, Landon Williams, and Laighton Kendrick.
