Hillery Burnett Moore, Jr.

Hillery Burnett Moore Jr, age 57, passed away November 24, 2025. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He enjoyed cooking and watching LSU football. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.                

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hillery and Arlene Moore.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Susan Moore; children, Timothy Moore, Kristyn (Jeffrey) Buckhalter, Chad (Cassandra) Moore, and Brandon (Layla) Moore; grandchildren, Damien, Evelyn, Rosie, and KodaWayne; siblings, Cissy (Mike) Cantrell, Connie Valure, and Sabrina Wrinkles; numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

The Visitation will be Monday, December 1, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. John Henry officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Mike Cantrell, Lil Mike Cantrell, Matthew Cantrell, Verdia Brannan, Alton Williams, and Jeffrey Buckhalter.
