Herbert Howard

Herbert Howard, age 84, passed away September 22, 2025. His life was all about family gatherings. He loved BIG get-togethers, fish-fries and cookouts with family and friends. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend to the community who will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his grandson, Darren Howard; parents, Marvin and Mattie Howard; numerous siblings. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Patricia Howard; children, Danny Wayne Howard, Polly Howard, Tammy (Jackie) Eubanks, and Lessia (Mark) Anderson; step-son, Brian Ladner; grandchildren, Abby Havard, LeAnn Murray, Justin and Jonathan Herbert Anderson; great grandchildren, Amelia and Carrie Anderson, Danielle Howard, Alex and Gabe Murray, Ivey and Grayson Havard; great-great grandchild, Kingsliegh Murray; siblings, Irene (James Cecil) Havard, Alfred (Bennie Lee) Howard, and Skeet (Grace) Howard. 

The Visitation will be Friday, September 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Bexley Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 12:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Larry Havard officiating. Burial will follow in Howard Cemetery. Pallbearers include Gabe Murray, Dusty Herman, Michael Wayne Woytek, Justin Andersn, Jonathan Herbert Anderson, Joe Dueitt, and Scotty Rich. Honorary Pallbearers, Edward Rich, and Pat Dueitt.
