Hazel Burns

Hazel Burns, age 88, passed away peacefully May 27, 2025. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Burns; son, Charles Andrew “Andy” Burns, Jr.; grandson, Benjamin Andrew Lewis; parents, Frank W. and Mary Yarber Dyess; siblings, Mary Francis Mattar, Margaret Ann Revett, George Hillard Dyess, Heidel Leon Dyess and Lillian Evans.      

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Karen (Tony) Gray, Kathy (Willie) Dyson and Krystal Lewis; grandchildren, Zachery Dyson, Corey (Mary Elizabeth) Dyson, Casey (Krista) Dyson, Hannah (Sean) Rosemeyer, Katie (Chris) Stafford, Brooklyn (Preston) Harrell and Blake (Breann) Lewis; seventeen great grandchildren.
