Gwyndolin Baxter Goff

Gwyndolin Baxter Goff, born December 8, 1947 in Lucedale, Mississippi, passed away May 9, 2025 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Gwyn was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Sherrell Goff; father, Ollie T. Baxter; mother, Selma Holland Phillips; brother, Donald W. Baxter; sister, Patricia Dianne Baxter; grandparents, Dennis and Cora Baxter and Artie and Lucy Holland.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Rhonda Goff Borne (Darren) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Tina Baxter of Tampa, Florida, Belinda (Paul) Matakiewicz of Oxnard, California, Mellissa Lopez, of Oxnard, California; granddaughters, Ashley Cortez, Samantha Lopez, Megan Mayon, and Kierra Risher; great grandsons, Landon Hernandez, Caiden Ohmer, Easton Cortez, and Angel Matakiewicz; great granddaughters, Madison Ohmer, Lacey and Lilah Hernandez, Emery Cortez; sister, Charlotte Baxter Joiner (Bruce); nieces, Shannon Pelman, Suzy Crutcher, Rachel Hare, Sara Crisler; nephew, William Jay Joiner; her loving neighbors, Don and Brenda Housley.

A Memorial Service for Gwyn will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Shady Grove Cemetery at the gravesite of Ollie T. Baxter and Don W. Baxter with Bro. Hootie Maples officiating.
