Gregory Carl McDonald

Gregory Carl McDonald, age 23, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025. He greatly enjoyed swimming and had a heart that loved everyone he met. He was a loving son and brother, full of life and joy. He truly lived his life to the fullest and left a vast, lasting impact on all he encountered. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Eva Erkhart; paternal grandparents, Alton and Ann McDonald; uncle, Robert “Tiger” Erkhart.     

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Tricia and Gary McDonald; brothers, Michael McDonald, Justin McDonald, and twin brother, Kevin McDonald; honorary big sister, Megan Childress; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.    

The Visitation will be Monday, January 5, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Crossroads Methodist Church. The Funeral Service will follow in the church sanctuary with Bro. Philip Erkhart officiating. Burial will follow in Erkhart Cemetery. Pallbearers include Kevin McDonald, Michael McDonald, Justin McDonald, Eli Erkhart, Levi Erkhart, and Quinn Erkhart. Honorary Pallbearer will be Megan Childress.
