Gladys Marie (Thompson) Strahan
Obituary
Gladys Marie (Thompson) Strahan, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Prentice Stephen Strahan, Sr.; parents, Johnnie Newman Thompson and Elsie Anna Marie Sommer; brothers, Herman, Newman, James, Melvin, Jerry and John Thompson and sisters, Margaret Gibson and Mamie Boyington.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Wilton L. Strahan, Sr. and her daughter Elsie A. (Alan) Roberts; sisters, Glendora Edwards, Jessie Rounsaville and Jane Strickland; five grandsons, Wilton (Vicki) Strahan Jr., Joshua (Jamie) Strahan, David Strahan, Elijah Strahan and Garrett Roberts and five great grandchildren, David, Aliza, Brooklyn, Lily and Cooper Strahan and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was baptized and a member of Canaan Land Pentecostal Church of Leakesville, MS.
The Visitation will be Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home, Leakesville. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home, Leakesville chapel. Burial will follow in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Pallbearers include Wil Strahan, Joshua Strahan, David Strahan, Garrett Roberts, Kevin Gray and Randy White, Jr.
