Gerry Dale Ragland

Gerry Dale Ragland, age 78, passed away July 10, 2025. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and worked as a mechanic for many years. He was a member of the UAW Union and a life-long, dedicated Alabama football fan. His life was full of work, adventures, and long days with family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and true friend who will be missed.           

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ragland; parents, Joseph Edward Ragland and Charlsie Lorene White Ragland; brothers, Ronnie Ragland and Danny Ragland.       

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Dewayne Ragland, Amy (Bobbie) Higgins, Harold (Connie) Denton, William (Ashley) Hollinghead, Renee (Kent) Alford and Keri Ayer; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Mike (Kelly) Ragland; numerous other relatives and friends.                

The Visitation will be Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mike Ragland officiating.
