Gerald Jerry Nelson

Gerald Jerry “Buck” Nelson, age 74, passed away January 10, 2022. He enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors, hunting, fishing and having a good time with family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Maxwell Tennerson Nelson; brother, Joel Nelson; partner, Pamela Gay Cottingham; daughter, Angel Michele Partridge; grandson, Hunter Partridge.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Joan Wismer; step-father, Frank Wismer; daughters, Rebecca Parnell, Joanna Jacobs, Mistie Ragland, Shelley Nelson and Amanda McGlothlin; son, Maxwell Partridge; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.               

The Visitation for Gerald Jerry “Buck” Nelson will be Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Alford Cemetery in Leakesville, Mississippi. Pallbearers include Mitchell Ellison, Chris Parnell, Jacob Watkins, Ethan Partridge, Elvis Montes and Maxwell Partridge.
