Gerald Malone Weaver, age 76, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2021 surrounded by his family. He worked for many years as a welder and mechanic for Brown & Root contractors. He enjoyed working on cars and trucks. He had a great faith in God and was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Gracie Smith Weaver; siblings, Floyd Weaver, Jr, Flossie Weaver, Jimmy Nicholson, Luvertie (Aubrey) Vanosdol; nephews, David Vanosdol, DeWayne Nicholson, Petie Nicholson, Donie Ray Henly and Philip August Smith; brothers-in-law, John Huber and Johnny Box; sisters-in-law; Evelyn Turner and Donna Kline; parents-in-law, J.K. and Ruth Box.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Miranda Box Weaver; children, Mona (Peter) Desalvo, Sawanna (Rick) Maynard and Gerald (Ginger) Weaver; grandchildren, Royce, Charles Evander, Daniel, Charles Craig (Shelby) Fortner, Gabby Woodard, Jackson Weaver, Paige and Cade Dunagan; great grandchildren, Justin, Christopher and Emma Fortner; sisters, Gloria Huber and Dolly Nicholson; numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Gerald Weaver.
