George Warren Nelson Sr.

George Warren Nelson, Sr., age 81, passed away October 22, 2023.            

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Mary Eldora Nelson; siblings, Glennwood Bud Nelson, Carey Ray Nelson and Janet Leach.    

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, David (Shelli) Harris, Sr. of Lucedale, Roy (Lisa) Harris of Lucedale, Cathy (Larry) Bradley of Leakesville, Charlene (Billy) Shields of Big Point, George Nelson, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, Tina Nelson of Lucedale and Seth Nelson of Lucedale; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Diane Gibson, Dennis Nelson and Joy Hunter; numerous other relatives and friends.    

The Celebration of Life service will be Friday, October 27, 2023 beginning at 7:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
