Gail Garlock

Gail Garlock, age 65, passed away October 14, 2024. Gail lived a full life with unlimited love for her family and friends.  Growing up in a very large family in a very small home with all brothers around her instilled an uncommon toughness in Gail that was her hallmark for life.  She was always there to lend a hand to anyone needing help.  She was exceptionally talented and never found a job or task that was too big or complex to tackle, and usually completed whatever job as good, and often better, than the professionals.  Gail really enjoyed family time.  Whether it was just sitting on the porch visiting or fishing, it was her sense of humor and love of family and friends that was felt by all and turned simple moments into cherished memories.  But most of all, Gail loved her daughters and their families and was so immensely proud of each of them.          

She is preceded in death by her son, Brad Garlock; mother and stepfather, Laverne Kelley and Harry Kelley; siblings, Carolyn Missildine, Doug Gill, Linda Garlock and Billy Gill; bonus sisters, Laura Garlock and Debra Gill. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Angela (James) Petrosie and Nancy (Josh) Miller; grandchildren, Welsey, Jolee and Joshua Bradlee; siblings, Jack (Sara) Owens, Robert (Tammy) Owens, Ray (Robin) Owens, Dale (Lori) Owens and John Garlock; numerous other relatives and friends.   

The Visitation will be Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Sis. Darlene Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula. Pallbearers include Stewart Owens, James Owens, Landon Owens, James Petrosie, Josh Miller, and John Barnes. Honorary Pallbearers are John Brent Ely, and Andrew Ely.
