Franklin "Frankie" Ray Havard

Franklin Ray “Frankie” Havard, age 71 passed away September 20, 2025. He loved to spend his days fishing and teaching his family how to fish. But his greatest pride was his family. Nothing made him happier than gathering everyone together and cooking for them. He will be remembered for his love of the river, and the way he cared for his family and closest friends.    

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise “Lou” Havard; parents, Ernest and Ina Faye Havard; brother, Robert “Bart” Havard; precious dog, Cesar.     

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Felica (Mike) Carr; grandchildren, Megen (Jeffrey) Lowe, and Dustin (Raelynn) Carr; great grandchildren, Mackinlee Lowe, Jeffrey Lowe, Carleigh Lowe, Charleigh Lowe, and Evelynn Carr; sweet pet dog, Willie; numerous other relatives and friends.      

The Visitation will be Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Sam McClure officiating. Burial will be in Caswell Springs Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Mike Carr, Dustin Carr, Vance Warden, Aaron Young, Tommy Havard, Justin Havard, Larry Havard, and Jeffrey Lowe. Honorary Pallbearers include Timmy Green, and Adeeb Harb.
