Faye Havard

Faye Havard, age 78, went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2024. She left this world peacefully with her family by her side. She loved cooking for her family, and she was always making sure everyone had something to eat. She spoiled her grandchildren and great grandchildren anytime she went shopping. She was protective over her family and most importantly she was ready to see Jesus and her husband, Harold. She was employed at Glen Oaks Nursing Home. She worked until medically forced into retirement. She loved her job in laundry, her coworkers, but especially the residents at Glen Oaks.                

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Havard; parents, Clarence and Mildred Fairley; siblings, Charles Ray Fairley, Lorene Cochran, Lavada Havard, Etoile Buckhalter.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Fredia (Randy) Williams, Kevin Havard, and Brian (Jeanne) Havard; grandchildren, Lacey (Troy Parker) Pol, Amanda (Loftin) Graves, Brittany (Travis) Davis, Jarrod (Haley) Williams, Clayton Havard, Shelton Havard, Sydney (Garrett) Whatley; great grandchildren, Addyson Pol, Emma Pol, Zoey Williams, Oliver Williams, Jax Havard, Heartlee Davis, T. J. Davis; siblings, J. W (Janice) Fairley, Jackie Howell, Gene (Carol) Fairley, Dean Fairley, Lavelle Fairley, Kathia (Kenneth) Davis; Numerous other relatives and friends.

The Visitation will be Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dale Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Joe P. Fairley Family Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jarrod Williams, Clayton Havard, Shelton Havard, Loftin Graves, Travis Davis, and Garrett Whatley. Honorary Pallbearers include Troy Parker and Mark Fairley.
