Evelyn Marie (Hillman) Greer

Evelyn Marie Hillman Greer, age 74, passed away peacefully September 17, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Cornerstone Full Gospel Church. She greatly enjoyed cooking, traveling, Braves Baseball and most of all spending time with family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis Van D. and Lucy “Cooter” Hillman; brothers, James Earl “Bill” Bragg, Edward Lee “Sweet Pea” Bragg and Louis Van D. “Doc” Hillman, Jr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 56 years, Donald Greer; daughters, Selina Hoover, Sissy (Austin) Breland and Donna (David) Summers; sons, Scott (Angel) Greer and Van (Jena) Greer; grandchildren, Magan Cockes, Jacob Breland, Jessie Breland, Jack Hoover, Clint Hoover, Jonathan Greer, Clay Greer, Ashton Summers, Tyler Summers and Ainsley Greer; 13 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

The Visitation for Evelyn Greer will be Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Cornerstone Full Gospel Church in Neely, Mississippi. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 22, 2021 beginning at 11:00 AM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Barry Sullivan and Bro. Eddie Pitts officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Leakesville Church of God cemetery. Pallbearers include Jacob Breland, Jessie Breland, Jack Hoover, Clint Hoover, Jonathan Greer, Clay Greer and Tyler Summers.
