Ethel Lee Stevens, age 82, passed away peacefully May 24, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, a loving mother, grandmother and dear friend.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Stevens; sons, Gary and Scotty Stevens; granddaughter, April; great granddaughters, Hannah and Heather Stevens; parents, Sabra Allman and Quitman Rouse; siblings, Bertha Ecroyd, Ella Vesely, Robert O. Rouse, William Rouse, Alfred Rouse, Herman Rouse, Norman Rouse, Chester Rouse, and Ouida Newbill.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Ricky (Judy) Stevens and Glen (Sherial) Stevens; grandchildren, Candie, Charles, Gary, Lakien, Tabitha, Heather, Ashlyn, Joey, Zeb, Shaliee and Brittney; 24 great grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Donna Stevens and Kathy Stevens; numerous other relatives and friends. She will also be missed by her beloved dog and the other family dogs she babysat regularly.
The Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 29, 2024 beginning at 2:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Jeff Bass officiating. Burial will follow in Northside Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Samuel Bass, Zeb McDaniel, Chris Thompson, Brayden Thompson, Joey McDaniel, and Gary Stevens. Honorary Pallbearers include Randy Merritt, Randy Taylor, Jim Fallon, and Rocky “RC” Carter.
