Emma McDaniel

Emma “Lulu” McDaniel passed this life at the young age of 17 on Thursday, August 16, 2018. Emma made the most of every moment she had. She was full of life and lived hers to the fullest. She was on the George County homecoming court the past two years, on the GC track team where she excelled in pole-vaulting, a member of the Pride marching band and winner of the past talent show. Emma was set to graduate in December with honors. Her light will be deeply missed by all who were privileged to know her.  

She is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Ronnie Taylor, Sr.; maternal great-grandmother, Irene Dean; maternal great-grandfathers, Herbert “Red” Walley and Thomas Dyer; paternal great-grandfather, Joseph McDaniel, paternal great-grandmother, Ella Merritt.

Those left to cherish her precious memory include her parents, Laci McDaniel and James McDaniel; brothers, Jake, Garrett and Aubry McDaniel; grandparents, Nancy and Mitch Goff, Glenn and Sherial Stevens; great-grandparents, Abbie and Mary Alice Goff; aunts and uncles, Ron and Laine Taylor and Joey and Ouida McDaniel; fiancé, Joey Hilbun; numerous cousins, other relatives and hundreds of friends.     

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather beginning at 4:00 PM.
