Elsie Mae Cowart

Elsie Mae Cowart, age 71, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024.           

She is preceded in death by her son, David Cowart; parents, Ennis and Myrtle Dunnam; siblings, Van Owen Dunnam, Charles Dunnam, Marvin Ennis Dunnam, Mary Louise Dunnam, Adrew Dunnam, Thomas Wayne Dunnam, and Alma Pearl Strickland    

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Jimmy Shannon Cowart and Micheal Cowart; granddaughter, Kaylah DeGarmo; sisters, Edna M. Toms and Carolyn Raybon; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.    

The Visitation will be Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home, Leakesville. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Mutual Rights Cemetery.
